Eric Herman
Eric Herman (aka "Grudunza") is a full-time kids/family music artist. He travels around the U.S. in a fleet of motorhomes (if "2" counts as a "fleet") doing concerts and assemblies at libraries, theaters, parks, schools, etc. Eric has released five kids' music CDs and is probably most well known in the children's music genre for his videos, which have over 15 million views on
YouTube. Look up "Eric Herman" or "The Elephant Song" on Google or YouTube to check that stuff out.
Back in the mid-90's Eric played games like Axis & Allies and Samurai Swords with a group of friends, but got away from that and mostly played PC games for the next ten years or so. He then rediscovered his love of board games in 2007 after playing... what else... Settlers of Catan. Eric found his way to places like BoardGameGeek, Fortress: Ameritrash and The Dice Tower and proceeded to become a Level 14 Hobby Gamer. Eric likes a variety of games but games with heavy theme and character combined with some tactical play tend to be the ones he
comes back to the most. Some of his favorite games include Arkham Horror, Battlestar Galactica, Pandemic and Last Night on Earth, but he still loves Settlers of Catan and enjoys many Euros, party games and dexterity games.
Eric loves playing games with his wife and his two girls and with his local game group, the Columbia Basin Board Game Society in Richland, WA. Eric is a very fledgling game designer, with his biggest credits being the d6 Shooters print-and-play game and a thank you credit in Pandemic: On the Brink for his bioterrorist variant which may have influenced the one that was used (though if so, Tom Lehmann and Matt Leacock made it a LOT better!). In addition to his part-time Dice Tower series on dice games, Eric also has a video series on cooperative games on YouTube under the channel name "Grudunza" which has... well... less than 15 million views.
