Anna Wassenburg is a medical student at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands, where she lives with her boyfriend and cat Nala who have to share the house with her large collection of boardgames.
As her mother is German, she was raised bilingually and speaks not only Dutch but also German fluently which comes in very handy in a hobby that has its roots in Germany.
She started organizing her own game meet-ups when she was 17 years old and has been doing so ever since.
In january 2016 she started working for the Dutch website Budgetspelen for which she makes Dutch video content on their youtube channel.
From 2016-2017 she was on the board of 'Duivelsei', a student boardgame association with over 450 members that have gamenights at least twice a week.
She is a regular contributor to Boardgame Blender and has been doing reviews for The Dice Tower with her signature quirky and bubbly personality.
Her favourite games are games that are soaking with theme and have a great story to tell, but as long as they are not too long and dry she will play mostly anything.
Talking and explaining boardgames is something she loves doing and she will take every opportunity to turn people into boardgame lovers.
