Dice Tower Network Podcast: Board Gamers Anonymous

Board Gamers Anonymous is an audio podcast about the tabletop hobby, covering card games, board games, and miniature games and the insane fun we have at the table together. Every two weeks BGA's hosts cover which games are triggering their acquisition disorders, what's been hitting the table, and whether the biggest new release is a buy, a play, or a dodge. The BGA crew strives to talk not only about what makes a game good, but the experiences that these games can give us and why they keep us coming back. As always, we have a seat saved just for you, so join us!

This week, we're revisiting a past topic through 2019 with the best female characterization in gaming. We're also excited to have launched our Patreon contests last week - congratulations to our first winner, Jon who took home Root, and this week's winner Jeremy.

For our question of the week, we asked the listeners "What's your favorite video game that feels and plays like a board game (not a board game app)?"

For acquisition disorders, Anthony looks at the new version of Castles of Burgundy coming form Alea in 2019 and Chris looks at the Munchkin Dungeon Kickstarter, currently live from CMON.

It's that time of the month again - time to dig in and check out the hotness for January. But first off, we're psyched to announce that we've hit our goal on Patreon to launch our weekly contests! Back us at patreon.com/bga to join the party!

First up, we ask everyone the question of the week: With so many reprints and reimplementations lately, what do you still have on your grail game list?
