This week there are no new Kickstarters to speak of (again) but Chris does talk about a non-game Kickstater he recently received (the click-and-grow, it's cool). We got a lot of feedback this week and answer a quick question. We then talk about "non-gamers" and ways we can turn them into full fledge gamers. Josh is back and we find out what he was up to for the last two weeks.  Chris speaks British (sort of) and we announce the winner(s) of our current contest. Then Chris covers a couple Kickstarters he backed recently and we answer a quick question from Jeremy on expansions. Then we go on topic and talk a lot about normal playing cards.  We talk about where they came from and what can we do with them. This weekend we spent teaching and playing games at GameHole Con in Madison, WI.  We had a great time and talk about the games that were played and the things we did at the convention. The bags Chris talks about: http://tabletopgametalk.com/amazon-bags-4x5 http://tabletopgametalk.com/amazon-bags-3x4 http://tabletopgametalk.com/amazon-bags-6x6 The Last Hope LARP Sydnie mentions:

This week we'll be at GameHole Con and we talk a bit about that.  No Kickstarters (although Chris promises to fix this next week), and a couple quick questions from Sam. Then we get on topic and talk about ways to make sure you can get some gaming in from time to time.  We even number the ways, although we may not have counted with any modern counting system in existence.  Oh, as a side effect we created a new counting system! This is Chris's wedding week, so we did something a little different in this episode.  We still start with some announcements, Kickstarters and feedback.  But once we get on topic, well, you'll just have to listen...

Only one Kickstarter this week, the expansion to Near and Far.  We have a lot of feedback from last week and then we go on topic and talk about filler games.  Chris seems passionate and conflicted about the term, but we'll blame that on the fact he's getting married this week and his mind has been all over the place!

In this episode we get some feedback around fiddly bits, Chris reminds people about the 7th Continent Kickstarter, and backs a couple others and then we go on topic... Ancient games!  It's like a history class, but for games.  Some games have stood the test of time, where did they come from and how did they become what they are today?  That's what we try and get to the bottom of in this episode.

Chris has a "bit" of a rough start on this one owed to a bachelor event the day before - but he does end up remembering to announce the winner of Massive Darkness eventually. Last chance to enter the Massive Darkness giveaway! Chris backed three Kickstarter: Wander, The Networks, and he backed a gaming table from Table of Ultimate Gaming. We then get some feedback from Christy about last weeks episodes on hidden traitor games and answer a quick question on kickstarter. Then we start talking about mainstream games from our past.  Chris even explains how to play Monopoly and Yahtzee, Kitty explains Clue.  In the end... well you'll have to listen to find out.

Massive Darkness arrived - and wow, it's massive.  You have until Sep 29th to enter, just email us with the subject "September Giveaway" at tabletopgametalk@gmail.com After we get that out of the way, Chris talk about we backed The Island of El Dorado.  We then have a fair amount of feedback, we do a quick question on how quickly games go from "wow" to "huh?" and finally get into our main topic of Hidden Traitor Games.
