Bringing the same colorful world and compelling characters from the Armello video game to life on the tabletop. The King of Armello has fallen ill to a dark and mysterious force called the Rot. The disease slowly consumes his body and soul, twisting him into madness. Banes, corrupted monsters of the Rot, roam unchecked. In response, the Great Clans have called on their Heroes to claim the throne. The Heroes will need to undertake Quests across the land to gain Experience, collect Treasures, and recruit Followers if they hope to slay the King. Or, if their exploits can earn them sufficient Prestige in the eyes of the Armellians, they may win the crown outright! In Armello: The Board Game, players take on the roles of Heroes to quest, battle, and employ a bit of trickery to gain Prestige and become the new ruler of Armello!
